Scholarship Instructions


Students interested in competing for the scholarships must provide the following information to the scholarship committee by the 22nd of May, 2026:

  • Students must be graduating from a Delaware County high school at the time of application.
  • Students must have a scholastic average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Students must be entering a four-year college or university as a full-time freshman in the fall of the year of the announcement of the scholarship award.
  • An official copy of their high school transcript must be electronically submitted.
  • A completed scholarship application.
  • A signed and dated certification statement.
  • Submission of three (3) personal recommendation letters from individuals able to attest to your character, work ethic, or scholarly achievements.
  • Sign and submit a photo/video release form.
  • Submit a 1000-1500 word well organized and prepared typewritten essay (see below for instructions).

    *Application submission tip: Before your begin your application, please read all instructions, gather all submission materials (such as photos, recommendation letters, your essay, etc.) and complete the application in one sitting.
